Cheetah Stun Gun - The Most Powerful Stun Gun?

If you've ever thought about buying a stun gun or other electrical stun device for self defense purposes, you should check out this video posted by Boomer Life Solutions out on YouTube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETQkj09lj-c

They do a very good job of demonstrating the features of the Cheetah stun gun at 2.5 Million Volts. This is very possibly the most powerful stun gun you can buy and it appears to come with some very nice safety features. Is a stun gun more effective than a TASER ECD device? It depends on the situation and the proximity of your attacker. Why not own one of each? I do. ;-)

Lethal or Non-Lethal

I believe non-lethal self defense weapons in the home are the way to go, when there are children in the home. I feel that I can effectively protect my children with a TASER C2 stun device.

I don't need a gun. I am afraid of an accident happening with a gun. I have a dog to sound the alarm and buy me some time, if a predator decides to hit my home. I live in a nice neighborhood, but I have 15 sex offenders living within a 5 mile radius of my home. I'm sure you have a large number living around you too! Lethal or Non-Lethal Weapons?

Pepper Spray - The perfect gift

I gave pepper spray to all my girl friends for Christmas. Everyone of them thought it was a great gift. They knew I promoted carrying pepper spray but not one of them had bought one. For about $20.00, every time you get the feeling something isn't right in the dark parking lot, you can quietly put the pepper spray in your hand and walk confidently to your car. The way you carry yourself also sends a clear message ... you are not an easy target!

Teaching or Terrifying?

Tonight I was out late at a school function. My daughters and I stopped to pick up dinner for my husband. The parking lot was very dark. I told them to quickly get in the car and I locked the doors. I unwittingly scared them. I was just trying to avoid giving any opportunist an opening. I did check out my surroundings, but I was still unsure, because the parking lot was so dark. My question is, "Did I teach my girls a good lesson or did I needlessly frighten them?"

Jacked Up in Miami

Did anybody hear about the woman and baby that were carjacked in Miami back in December 2008? She was sitting in her Mitsubishi SUV in the parking lot, while waiting for her husband. A man approached the vehicle and attempted to carjack her. She struggled with the man and in the process he punched her 18-month old baby. He was just caught this last Wednesday January 21, 2009. He had been on the run; doing who knows what to other unsuspecting victims for over a month.

Questions for us all to consider and take action in our own lives:

Why weren't her doors locked while sitting in the parking lot? Why didn't she notice the stranger approaching the car and then lock the doors? If she had a pepper spray on her key ring, in her purse or in the glove box, she may have been able to stop the attack and save her child from injury. This world is a very dangerous place. We must always be prepared to fight back! For the cost of a pizza dinner, all woman can be ready ... isn't it worth it?

MESSED UP!!

Some people are unbelieveable. I just found out neighbors of mine are divorcing. After 35 years of marriage, he decides to get a younger woman. That would make me mad too, but what she did next made me sick to my stomach. She put a perfectly heathly dog to it's death, because the dog was his. INEXCUSEABLE!! She should have shot his sorry *** with a TASER, not fried the dog.

Infested, but Still Loveable

Today, I groomed a crazy, but loveable dog. He tried to bite me at least six times. He had so many sores it wasn't funny. The owner admitted he had fleas about 2 weeks ago, when she applied Frontline. She also informed me that she walks him around her neighborhood and two dogs attacked them. I love dogs, but everyone should carry pepper spray when they take a walk. You just never know, if a dog is going to become aggressive towards you. The pepper spray doesn't cause permanent damage to the dog. Your dog helps with personal protection, but sometimes you both need a little help.

Intimidating Male

Today this guy comes into school demanding that we give him money. I said to him, "I'm sorry, but we don't have any money to give you. Maybe you can try at the church across the street?" Well, that sent him into a tirant about how un-Christian people are in the world today.. and what a ***** I am. At that point I opened my purse, so I could get to my pepper spray easily and told him I was going to call the police, if he didn't leave NOW! My friend gave me the pepper spray for Christmas. I never thought I would need it so soon. I was really glad I had something to protect myself with. He was yelling and very threatening with his body language. Every woman should take the time to make sure she has at least some pepper spray to protect herself.
